Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mop are getting more efficient. They pass our tests on cleaning and can take care of various flooring. Choose models that permit you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
A lot of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an app that allows you to save maps, create schedules and select cleaning options.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which includes flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even cross raised thresholds without issue. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rugs.

After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and fills up its water tank with filtered, clean water ozonated. The dock adds an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank holds enough for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure it is operating well. For this, you'll need to wash the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. You will also need to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dirt or dust. However, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, particularly compared to other models that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an effective solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with a variety of unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans around furniture and avoids obstacles. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just drag a pad across a surface. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station when needed.
This robot combo has an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It also comes with a hand-vacuum which can be used to clean those hard-to reach areas that the robot cannot reach. There are two water tanks that can be automatically emptied or refilled. It comes with a range of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction that can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it does sometimes get hung up on the small rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the app). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of simply dragging the pad over it. budget robot vacuum are also cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station whenever required. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station if they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and robot vacuum list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush will give you a thorough, customised clean.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing large and fine particles from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush which automatically moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run along baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble that can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without skipping a beat. It can go from one room to another without having to reverse direction. This is beneficial for homes with a lot of rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is less advanced than some competitors and leaves a wide space between obstacles. This could lead to miss-hit spots.
The app's interface is intuitive and well-organized. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleaning tasks. You can also alter suction power, mop setting and look up 3-D and 2-D maps. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. However, you will need a stable internet connection to use it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic in removing dirt and debris but they aren't able to reach every bit of dust. It's important to vacuum frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that accumulates in corners, on shelves and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed to accomplish exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your WiFI network at home and works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it's cheaper since it doesn't come with mopping capabilities and comes with an aluminum body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've seen in this price range, despite not being able to clean your floors. It has powerful 5500Pa suction and an automatic emptying system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It comes with a smart app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling system and washing system for hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa power to combat pet hair and dirt, on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested that did not have issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it could not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't contain AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is one of the quietest robovacs we've tested. It also has a unique method to map your home. This allows it to get into the corners and tight spaces that other vacuums cannot reach. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in the larger bin, meaning that you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction when needed. The app also allows you to mark areas that you want it to avoid and is a great feature.
